Prerequisite: Before searching, you must have uploaded an index.
The search panel is on the left side of the window. The fields displayed in the panel, along with their associated labels, are defined in the field configuration.
Search returns a list of records from your index which are potential matches, meaning the calculated match score is above the display threshold.
Enter one or more values into the search fields.
At least one field must be a name, either person name, organization name, or location name.
You can put in a partial name, or an initial.
You can enter partial dates in date fields. 1955-12-30, 1955--03, 12/30, -12, 1955 are all supported date formats.
Select Run Search
The list of matching identities is displayed in descending order by match score.
