The goal of this quickstart guide is to get you up and running quickly and easily with the Rosette Identity Resolution API through a step-by-step guide that demonstrates many of the features of the product. Using the API, we will import some sample text files and explore the identities and relationships discovered.
Rosette Identity Resolution is provided as a Docker container. We'll step through the product prerequisites and setup, and then go through some examples.

To use the full Wikidata Knowledge Base, your system must meet the following minimum requirements:
It is recommended to use 64GB of RAM.

Installing Rosette Identity Resolution
Rosette Identity Resolution is shipped as a
.zip file, along with a license file
Unzip the file
A directory named
identity will be created.
Copy the license file into the
ROSETTE_API_KEY environment variable with your key
ROSETTE_API_KEY is set on your local operating system, not on the Docker container.
It is recommended to use 64GB of RAM. If you have 64GB of RAM, make the following modification to the
services.elastic.environment field in
Verify that the folder
/tmp/ingest exists and that the current user has read and write permissions. If it doesn't exist, create it.
cd into the unzipped
Make the scripts runnable:
chmod +x startup.sh
chmod +x shutdown.sh
