We already created the investment event in the schema template. The project schema currently matches that template. However the schema currently only identifies all forms of the noun “investment” as key phrases. We should also look for forms of the verb “invest” (invests, invested, investing, et cetera). To account for this, we can edit the event type.
-
Expand Event Types.
-
Select Configure next to the investment event type.
-
Type “invest” in the Enter New Key Phrase field and select the plus sign icon to the right.
-
Save the project schema.
We have already added one role to the investment event type: money. Another role we should add is investor. For the purposes of this tutorial, an investor is a person or organization that invests an amount of money in another organization. Therefore, it should use the person_or_org role type we created in the Define Schema Template section.
-
Add the investor role to the event by typing “investor” in the Roles for this Event field.
-
Select the person_or_org role type using the Role Type dropdown menu.
-
Select the plus sign next to the required checkbox. Make sure the Required checkbox is not selected.
-
Select Save.
Finally, we should make a role type for assets. For the purposes of this tutorial, an asset is the organization and investor invests in. Therefore, it should use the organization role type we created in the Define Schema Template section.
-
Add the asset role to the event by typing “asset” in the Roles for this Event field.
-
Select the asset role type using the Role Type dropdown menu.
-
Select the plus sign next to the required checkbox. Make sure the Required checkbox is not selected.
-
Select Save.
